Privacy Policy

BrickX is operated by Omar Alzarooni in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what we collect when you use BrickX and how we use it. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Apple or Google. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your real email.
• Profile: display name, country, city, bio and the date you joined.
• Listings: photos, titles, set numbers, condition, price, location and descriptions you post.
• Messages and offers: chats, offers, orders and reviews between you and other users.
• Safety records: reports you send or receive, people you block, and moderation decisions.
• Device: a push-notification token if you allow notifications, and basic technical logs (such as errors) used to keep the app working.

How we use it

• To run the marketplace: show your listings, deliver messages and send notifications.
• To keep people safe: review reports, remove content and ban abusive users.
• To provide the optional "Summarize the deal" feature. When you tap it, that chat's text is sent to our AI provider to create a summary. It is not used to train AI models.

Who can see what

• Everyone: your display name, profile photo, city, country, bio, published listings and reviews.
• Only you and the other person: your messages and offers.
• Never shown to other users: your email address.
• BrickX moderators can see what they need to handle reports and keep the app safe.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to host the app and its data, send sign-in emails, deliver push notifications (Apple) and create AI summaries. They only process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, listings, photos, messages, offers, favourites, notifications and blocks are permanently deleted straight away. Short-term backups expire within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile and listings at any time.
• Turn notifications off in your iPhone's Settings.
• Delete your account and data in the app: Account → Delete account.
• Email us to ask for a copy of your data or for any privacy question.

Children

BrickX is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
