Terms & Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and BrickX, operated by Omar Alzarooni in the United Arab Emirates ("BrickX", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use BrickX.

1. What BrickX is

BrickX is a free classifieds marketplace where people list, find and discuss LEGO® sets, minifigures and parts. Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other. BrickX is not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store or deliver items, and we do not take, hold or process payments for sales. Any agreement on price, payment, pickup or delivery is between the buyer and seller only.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post or send:

• Counterfeit, stolen or illegal items, or anything other than genuine LEGO or LEGO-compatible products clearly described as such.
• Misleading listings, fake prices, spam or scams, including requests for advance payment from people you haven't met.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, violence, or content that is offensive or discriminatory.
• Other people's personal information or copyrighted photos without permission.

You can report any listing or user and block anyone. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms and ban users who post it.

4. Listings

• Listing is free. You must own the item and have the right to sell it.
• Describe the item honestly, including condition and missing pieces, and use your own photos.
• Mark items as sold or remove them once they are no longer available.
• We may hide, edit categories of, or remove any listing at our discretion.

5. Dealing with other users

Because you deal directly with other users, you do so at your own risk. Meet in safe public places, check items before paying, and never send money to someone you haven't met. BrickX doesn't guarantee the quality, safety, legality or authenticity of items, the truth of listings, or that a buyer or seller will complete a deal. Any dispute is between you and the other user, though you can report them to us.

6. Offers, reviews and AI summaries

Offers in the app are non-binding messages to help you agree a deal. Reviews must be honest and based on a real deal. The "Summarize the deal" feature uses AI to read your chat and may be inaccurate, so always check details yourself.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give BrickX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show and promote your listings and photos while they are on BrickX.

8. Liability

BrickX is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from deals between users, items bought or sold, or your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the United Arab Emirates.

9. Suspension and changes

We may suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. Continuing to use BrickX means you accept the update.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes will be handled by its courts.

11. Trademarks

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse BrickX.
